5 Tips For Having A Memorable New Year’s Eve Party!

Don’t risk a dull, boring New Year’s Eve Party!

Everyone will be saying those words at midnight on December 31st. This year’s New Year’s Party celebration is sure to be spoken about for years to come, and you want your guests to speak about it as well! Check out these ideas to guarantee your party isn’t a disaster!

1. Make it original – New Years Eve is a Special Night!

New Year’s Eve is a great time. Every year, we can let go of the heartaches we had last year and look forward to the new year with hope and dreams. We also look back on the cool things we did, the new friends we made, the vacations we took, and the things that worked out for us.

Make your party your own! Add your own style to it. It’s not hard to do. Take a look back at what happened in your life last year that made you smile. Did you go on a great vacation, get married, or something else? Did you get a raise at work or meet the person of your dreams? Now, what does that memory make you think of? It could be warm tropical breezes, or it could be the cold of Antarctica. There are some things about it that make you think of romance or even power. Make your party theme based on one of those things.

As long as you remember how the tropical breeze felt on your face, make it a tropical-themed party. Remember that Tropical can be either silly and fun, like a cartoon, or sophisticated and classy, like a beach party in a James Bond movie, with tuxedos and martinis, like the one on the beach.

In the event that you’ve had a good year of romance, you can throw a romantic party. It can be silly and fun, with games that always put one or the other in… Stylish with roses and wine tasting, as well.

The most important thing is that you make it about yourself, not someone else. You’ll be amazed at how your guests will echo what you remember.

2. Make a New Cocktail for Your Event!

Almost everyone enjoys experimenting with various flavored concoctions. A few weeks ago, I hosted a party with Cuban-inspired cuisine. A MoJohnny was born in place of Mojitos!

Lemonade was the base of the drink, which had vanilla rum and some seltzer added to it. My “Mojito Rimming Sugar” was then used to rim all of the glasses. These little cuties were a huge success! All the time, I’m asked for them! The unique rimming sugar may be found at the online address provided below.

The importance of having a signature drink for your event cannot be overstated. For her High-End Party with Yahoo.com, Rebecca came up with the “Yahootini,” a vodka-based cocktail. It’s a fun and delicious way to personalize the celebration!

3. It’s time to hand everyone a “Cool” party favour!

There is nothing more satisfying than bringing something home with you. Besides giving them something to remember your New Year’s Eve celebration by, it also ensures that they will remember your “present” or “party favor” whenever they look at it.

The light-up ice cube is one of the newest never-fail things. These cubes are made of non-toxic plastic and include an LED light. Even if you require a large number of them, you may have the cubes customized with the name of your organization or party. They are available in a wide variety of colors, so picking the right one for your event and drink should be a cinch… You can even purchase lights that change color, strobe, or blink! Check out the link below to learn more about them!

Glow necklaces and custom shot glasses are always a hit. Nowadays, almost everything can be customized. Your name or emblem may be emblazoned on wine bottles and golf balls, as well as on playing cards. You may do whatever you want, as long as you stay true to your theme and have fun doing it!

4. Set the Mood for your Party with Theme Music!

It’s much simpler than it seems. The ability to “burn” a CD has become commonplace on almost every computer.

To get the party started, all you need to do is think of a dozen or so songs that are particularly meaningful to you or the group of friends you’ve invited.

Some of my favorite Jimmy Buffett songs, as well as other “tropical” tunes, would be playing in the background.

As soon as the Weather Girls’ “It’s Raining Men” plays, my wife’s pals shout and jump up and down! For our celebration, that’s a must!

All of us have a favorite music that evokes memories. Make a CD with all of those particular songs on it and you’re done! The songs are widely available for purchase and download if you don’t already have them. In fact, I’m a big lover of iTunes!

Do not be afraid of having DJs include these songs into the mix as needed if they are playing. Leaving your five-disc CD player to serve as the DJ is as simple as setting it to random and watching it randomly choose a “favorite” song.

…and here’s a new twist on that notion! Preparation is key. The party favors are awesome! Two for the price of one, eh?

5. Confetti is the best way to ring in the New Year!

You can’t help but think “Happy New Year” whenever you watch confetti fall. On New Year’s Eve in New York City, it always brings back memories of Times Square.

Confetti may be used in a variety of ways during your celebration. You can’t go wrong with Confetti Flick Sticks. When you flick your wrist, confetti flies out of your hand in an instant!

Hand-Held Confetti launchers may be added to larger celebrations. They’ll have the same effect as flick sticks, but they’ll be much larger!
